My name is Tyler Austin, and I’m the proud owner and breeder behind Battle Born Game Farm, located in the rolling hills of Kentucky. To understand who we are and what we stand for, you first need to know about the man who started it all — my father, James Henry.

Dad wasn’t just a breeder. He was a craftsman. A quiet, hardworking man who believed that the way you raise something — whether it’s a child or a rooster — says everything about your character. He started breeding gamefowls long before I was born, not for money or fame, but for the love of the breed and the discipline of doing things right.

He was known in our community for producing birds that were strong, intelligent, and healthy — birds that stood out not just because of how they looked, but because of the care behind them. If you knew James Henry, you knew a man of grit, heart, and uncompromising values.

When he passed away in 2018, it wasn’t just his birds I inherited. It was his vision, his values, and his name — a name I now work every day to honor through Battle Born Game Farm.
